About Living Word Sanctuary
Welcome to Living Word Sanctuary. We are a church family committed to following Jesus, living out God’s Word, and loving people well. Whether you are new to faith, returning to church, or simply seeking a place to belong, you are welcome here. Our desire is to walk through life together—worshiping with joy, growing through prayer, and encouraging one another as we serve God and our community. We believe lives are transformed through an encounter with Jesus, and we would be honored to be part of your journey.

we believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for our lives. We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and in the deity, death, resurrection, and soon return of Jesus Christ. Salvation is found through repentance and faith in Christ alone, made possible by His redeeming sacrifice and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the active ministry of the Holy Spirit today, including spiritual growth, divine healing, Spirit-filled living, and empowered worship and prayer. We affirm the sanctity of human life, the God-ordained covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and the Church’s calling to share the Gospel with all nations as we await Christ’s return and the promise of a new heaven and new earth.
OUR STORy=his story
It’s all about Him! Our church held its first service in 2006 in a family home living room. As we grew, we moved to Packard Shelter House and then to the YWCA in downtown Warren, Ohio.
We ministered there for 13 years, praying and seeking God for a place of our own. We bought land to build a church, but road blocks prevented us from building and forced us to pray, fast, and wait more earnestly for God’s Divine direction.
Seemingly out of the blue, in 2014, a man we did not know donated the 19,500 sq ft Mike Tyson Mansion in Southington, Ohio, including the 58 acres surrounding it, to our little congregation.
Yes - God actually heard us when we prayed! And He answered us miraculously! What an awesome God!
The next 5 years were spent renovating the dilapidated building and property. The work was done every Saturday by our very own congregation.
The result is a glorious house of worship and praise to our faithful Father God where we held our first service on Resurrection Sunday in April 2019.
Carrying a Divine mission to reach those who are lost and in need of a Savior, we are grateful to be a part and to watch His story continue to unfold in our church and in the lives of ordinary people just like us.
We truly believe that His story has a chapter just for you!
